ConnLUG Builds Creativity at the Farmington Libraries Maker Fair

On Sunday March 26th, eight volunteers from ConnLUG attended the Farmington Libraries Maker Fair in Farmington, CT. The Maker Fair is an event hosted by the public library to promote S.T.E.A.M. throughout the local community. Patrons of all ages were able to enjoy demonstrations, workshops, and crafting opportunities by local organizations and library staff.

ConnLUG hosted a fun mosaic build, which has seen huge popularity among the library networks and events we conduct throughout the year. Our volunteers worked with Maker Fair visitors to provide ideas and inspiration for creative mosaics in small and large style builds.

ConnLUG volunteers support the Farmington Libraries Maker Fair with a mosaic build event on Sunday March 26, 2023.

Maker Fair participants showed their ideas and creativity with fun mosaics from ConnLUG supplied idea books and their own imaginations!

As always, ConnLUG members appreciate the opportunity to give back to our community with support for public events and builds. We are always looking for ways to give back, display our creativity, and guide the builders of tomorrow!
