March 2020 Virtual Monthly Meeting

March 21, 2020 @ 1:00 PM 4:00 PM

Join us on March 21st from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM for our our March Virtual Monthly Meeting online via Microsoft Teams. We have lots of fun planned, including a set draft of 60253, our quarterly build challenge, a minifigure and parts swap, and our MOC and Tell where members will bring their builds to talk about. During the meeting, we will also have some cool building seminars to showcase useful techniques. Members are welcome to bring guests as well. We look forward to seeing you there online!

March Set Draft:

Ice Cream Truck 60253

Need 15-20 pieces of that particular part for your next MOC and Tell? Set drafts are a great way to get those parts. Bring one or two to the next meeting and participate to get the parts that you need from our friendly draft.

Quarterly Build Challenge!

8-wide Modular Buildings!

We would like to think of this as less of a build challenge and more of a collaboration build. If everyone participates, we can make a really unique street of 8-wide modular buildings in varying styles! Feel free to go nuts – theme doesn’t matter here! Build what you like – as tall as you want. Only stipulation: it has to be a straight building (not a corner) that is 8 studs wide.

Need some ideas to get you started? Check out this link: Modular Buildings

Minifigure and Parts Swap

Bring your minifigs to the meeting and trade with your ConnLUG friends. Find that elusive minifig that you’ve always wanted or trade up your ‘dupes’ from a recent CMF series. We trade parts as well, so if you mentioned or read about some parts wanted or parts for trade in our Discord channel, you may find them here. Bring parts that you want to trade with other members during this portion of the meeting.

MOC and Tell

MOC and Tell, it’s like show and tell, only better. Here’s you opportunity to create a new MOC or show off an old favorite to everyone! Bring one or more of your MOCs to put on display for the meeting and get the opportunity to talk about it. Want to watch your own MOC and Tell presentation? Opt in to have your MOC and Tell recorded and posted to our new YouTube Channel!
