    Approaching the Holidays It's hard to believe that 2021 is almost over. Here we are, days before Thanksgiving, and the year wrapping up in only a few weeks. This year has flown by, as many of them do, but despite the challenges of remote meetings and surviving the global pandemic, ConnLUG has emerged as strong as ever.

    Summer. We made it. The sun is shining, the air is warm, and the smiles have almost returned to our little corner of the world. We've been through a lot these last few months, both in our personal health and in the health of our communities. It has been a difficult road so far; however, we managed to survive and even thrive through our love of LEGO, socially distant communication, remote gatherings, and concern for one another. Find out what is changing and what is staying the same for the rest of this year, plus new rules to keep us safe!

    ConnLUG has been featured on the international stage! Back in January, Blocks, a UK based subscription magazine for LEGO enthusiasts, by LEGO enthusiasts, featured a segment on ConnLUG in an awesome two-page article in its January 2020 issue #63.

  • May 2020 Virtual Monthly Meeting

    Join us on May 16th from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM for our our May Virtual Monthly Meeting online via Microsoft Teams. We have lots of fun planned, including plenty of MOC-and-Tell, a set review, and updates on our annual events schedule and news from the LAN. During the meeting, we will also have some cool building seminars to showcase useful techniques. Members are welcome to bring guests as well. We look forward to seeing you online!

  • ConnLUG Adds New Challenges

    ConnLUG Members can now find a dedicated section for our Quarterly Build Challenges on our site under the Events section. The ConnLUG Quarterly Build Challenge is an opportunity to participate in a fun and friendly contest with other members four times per year. The challenges are presented in the public meetings that fall in the months of March, June, September, and December. ConnLUG members are given a set of instructions for the parameters of the challenge, and then have ample time to build what inspires them.   • April 2020 Virtual Monthly Meeting

    Join us on April 18th from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM for our our April Monthly Meeting in Hartford, CT. We have lots of fun planned, including a set draft of 76142, a set review, a minifigure and parts swap, and our MOC and Tell where members will bring their builds to talk about. During the meeting, we will also have some cool building seminars to showcase useful techniques. Members are welcome to bring guests as well. We look forward to seeing you there!

    New Year, New Site, New ConnLUG Hey AFOLs and TFOLs of ConnLUG! Happy 2020! Here we are in a new decade, the future is now! We hope that you've all had a nice holiday and are looking forward to all of the fun and opportunities that await us in this new year.

  • ConnLUG Holiday Party 2019

    ConnLUG members and guests are invited to join us for our annual Holiday Party. The party will be held at the Herd Restaurant on Main Street in Middletown on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The price for the event is $40.00 per person and includes an appetizer, a main course, a desert, and all non-alcoholic beverages. There will be a cash bar for those interested. RSVP and Payment due by Nov 9.

  • Bing! Comic-Con 2019

    Bing! Comic Con is a one day comic, fantasy, and pop-culture convention put on by the Bing Arts Center in Springfield, Massachusetts on October 26th. This is an intimate, yet colorful event that has been part of the ConnLUG event circuit for several years now. Come meet local artists and support your local community. ConnLUG will be contributing a small display and play brick area for attendees. Setup begins at 8:30 AM and runs through 5:00 PM. All members are welcome to participate with MOCs of any kind. Cost is $5 per person and proceeds benefit the Bing Arts Center.
