Restoring Our LEGO World
With the February Monthly Meeting in the books, ConnLUG members took the opportunity to reconnect in person and online via our hybrid meetings. This was one of the few times since the beginning of the global pandemic that we were able to engage with one another for an in-person gathering. Many familiar faces, and some new faces as well, joined in sharing our love of LEGO with MOCs, MODs, and excellent builds.
ConnLUG in the New Year
January 2022 is right around the corner, and for our first meeting of the new year, ConnLUG will host a hybrid meeting, both in person and online. Member may choose which way to attend based on their comfort level. The January meeting will see the return of the set draft and the build challenge! We Asked, You Told Us
Summer. We made it. The sun is shining, the air is warm, and the smiles have almost returned to our little corner of the world. We've been through a lot these last few months, both in our personal health and in the health of our communities. It has been a difficult road so far; however, we managed to survive and even thrive through our love of LEGO, socially distant communication, remote gatherings, and concern for one another. Find out what is changing and what is staying the same for the rest of this year, plus new rules to keep us safe!
May the Fourth Be with You
Doing our best to survive the 2020 pandemic, ConnLUG members new and old continued building remotely and sharing their passion for LEGO with each other online during the month of May. Despite practicing social distancing, we have new members continuing to pour in and connect with us on our Discord Server. We welcome LEGO enthusiasts to join us as we find new ways to enjoy our LEGO community online.
LEGO Minds Gather in Teams
ConnLUG members met virtually for the April 2020 Monthly Meeting in Microsoft Teams. We reviewed the new LUG Buddy System for brand new ConnLUG members, discussed ideas for our Quarterly Build Challenges (QBC), had a classic throwback set review, and reviewed topics from our now weekly MOC-and-Tell build challenges and tutorial streams on our YouTube channel. ConnLUG is still finding ways to connect, have fun, and express LEGO creativity during these trying times.
Battle Beam Build and Bash!
Members of ConnLUG joined Corey Schmidek of E.Y.E.S. for a special Monthly Meeting build challenge event - The Battle Beam Build and Bash. Everyone was excited to participate in this unique event and we were thrilled to have Corey join us for this exhibition of LEGO robotics, creativity, and of course battle bots! Veteran members of ConnLUG, new members, and even some guests participated in this mechanized MOC experience.
Beat the heat at the July ConnLUG Meeting
It was a scorcher for the ConnLUG July 2019 Meeting. On the hottest day of the year, members of ConnLUG came out to enjoy some fun in the sun at the July Cookout - Pool Party. While we crowded indoors next to the A/C, and took advantage of the relief that a pool brings, Chef Brian was braving the heat to bring our members the best burgers, dogs, and veggies around.

Twenty-three members of ConnLUG, including a brand new member, joined us for an excellent and relaxing time with our LUG friends at the June ConnLUG Monthly Meeting.
Gathered Around The Hinkle Hammer
Over thirty ConnLUG members and guests met for the May 2019 Meeting at the home of the legend himself, Mr. Kevin Hinkle. Much fun was had, including our monthly set draft, set review, and the debut of MOC and Tell.
